One more year went by ..filled with emotions and lots of exciting moments. 


Two gems of cricketing world, Anil Kumble fondly call Jumbo and our very own Dada Sourav Ganguly fared adie to International cricket.We Sachinists and Indian Cricket fans will never forget their contribution. We solute both these great stalwarts of Indian cricket.

We had several great matches throughout the year. 

As we say( agar shuruwaat acchi ho jaaye subah ki, toh din bahut accha hota hai) .We started well by winning in pacy perth wicket...Though there were some controversies regarding Bhajji and Symonds during Sydney Test..But I have to say the win at Perth, after the Sydney controversy was India's best win over the years. Thae way we bounced back from the Sydney loss ...and came back strongly in Perth and put a full stop to Aussiess 17 match winning streak in test matches and from that day we got a glimpse of Aussies Down Fall . 
Then we affirmed that by beating Aussies in two finals of CB series capturing the last episode of the elated trophy.

With our master's stuning knocks of 117* and 91 in two Consecutive Finals.... 

After that twenty twenty took over with IPL fever at its peak, where an inspired Jaipur team stunned one and all by winning convincingly . 

Our test loss to Sri Lanka was the lowest point of the year, the middle order collapsing pretty much like it used to happen in the days gone by, a rookie spinner rocked our experienced batting line up bringing us back to reality before Border Gavaskar Trophy resumed in the subcontinent. 

Our Master led the way with crucial knocks of 49,88,68,47 and 109 getting past Lara's test run's tally and also crossing the 12000 barrier in the process. 

It was in this series that two greats of Indian cricket decided to bid farewell to the beautiful game ...  

India rocked England in the ODI's that followed winning all five matches before the tour was called off in extremely unfortunate circumstances, the terrorist attacks that affected the series left mumbai bleeding with hundreds of casualties, thousands injured and a permanent damage to our national pride and honour.

Yuvraj Singh struggle with form ended as he blasted two identical, almost perfect tons to answer the critics and torment old foes England at the same time. 

But Determination And Courage shown By England team was appreciated by every1 And We Salute England team For Showing There courage and Spirite For The Game.. 

First time in his entire career master was not in the mood of playing cricket...and this shows how much those terrorist are succeeded in their plans.... 

But cricket goes on and in first test match we were able to make history after almost 20 years by chasing 387 in fourth Inning. Sehwag's Splendid innings of 83 in just 68 balls turned the shape of the match which was directed toward draw ...and after that our master fascinating knock Of 103* And Yuvraj Singh 80+ ensured us the best win ever .And the context of the victory, after the Mumbai terror attacks, makes this even more special. 


Cricket is not just about beating the best opposition you can get (India did that a few weeks earlier) it's about winning at the right time, in the right manner. To have Sachin hit the winning runs while, at the same time reaching 100, was pure poetry. It was also an amazing victory in a cricket sense - what a run chase! But what makes this Test one of the most memorable of my lifetime is the fact that after all that Mumbai and India have been through over the past few weeks. All these things make this one of the best wins in the history of cricket. I will never forget it. 

And after that the last match ended up with draw..And that was the last match of year 2008 infact.. And Its A common Saying {If Ends Well Everything Goes well(means ant bhla toh sab bhla)}....  

I wanna say something for england team also for cheering them up and these lines are from om shanti om film (agar ant accha naa bhi ho toh toh picture abhi baaki hai mere dost ........) Hope Our Indian team will do even better in the coming Year...
